HEY THERE!
My name is Mike (from Australia), and I’m the dude that has been running this website for the last 10 years. I love horror in all its forms and Heavy Metal music. Some of you might remember me from such bands as Reign of Terror and … well, actually that was about it. I started the site around 10 years ago but it was more for a fun / therapeutical type thing but the site has really started to get some traffic and I think it’s time to get this thing to the next level.
I’ve learned a lot about PROMOTING websites in the 10 years since I’ve started this site. **(It’s all well and good to be an awesome programmer but lets face it you need people to see the site)** The site never really got any visitors when I first started it but grew to 100 visitors a month (which lets face it… is pretty shit) in the first few years after I started this. But to be fair to myself, I was using this more as a form of therapy than taking it really seriously anyway. Recently the site started to get up around 500 unique visitors a month and then in the last couple of months it seems to be regularly pulling 1000 unique visitors a month, which I’m really happy with.
I fully understand there’s a lot of sites that do a lot better than this one, but you know what? I’m still proud of getting 1k visitors a month and the site is still growing so hey if you like this site and you’ve been coming back here “For those about to gore … I SALUTE YOU!”. You can also now see what I look and sound like and you can laugh at my Australian accent.
